5ª Etapa- Évora (chegada) / Stage 5 – Évora (Finish)

Évora, cidade Património Imaterial da Humanidade e a não menos imponente Praça do Giraldo, recebem o final de mais uma edição da prova, será a trigésima oitava que vez a Volta ao Alentejo Crédito Agrícola tem um final de etapa na “Cidade Museu”, em 183, 84 e 85, teve duas etapas em cada uma das edições.

Ao longo das 41 edições da “Alentejana” até agora disputadas, Évora já recebeu 33 o final da prova e entre outros locais, o cenário final da prova ocorreu no Rossio de São Brás, Templo de Diana e desde 2014, na Praça do Giraldo.

Nas 37 chegadas a Évora, 18 corredores portugueses conseguiram o triunfo na tirada, a última o ano passado por Iuri Leitão (Caja Rural/ Seguros RGA), depois surgem os corredores espanhóis com 11 vitórias, 2 de corredores franceses, depois com uma vitória há um corredor venezuelano, britânico, colombiano, germânico, australiano e finalmente um húngaro.

Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage city, along with the no less imposing Praça do Giraldo, welcomes the conclusion of yet another edition of the race. This marks the 38th time that the Volta ao Alentejo Crédito Agrícola has had a stage finish in the "Museum City." In 1983, 1984, and 1985, there were two stages in each edition.

Throughout the 41 editions of the "Alentejana" held so far, Évora has hosted the race finale 33 times. Among other locations, the final stage has taken place at Rossio de São Brás, the Temple of Diana, and, since 2014, at Praça do Giraldo.

Of the 37 finishes in Évora, 18 Portuguese riders have claimed stage victories, the most recent being Iuri Leitão (Caja Rural/Seguros RGA) last year. Spanish riders follow with 11 wins, while French cyclists have secured two. Additionally, there has been one stage victory each for a Venezuelan, British, Colombian, German, Australian, and, most recently, a Hungarian rider.

5ª Etapa- Estremoz (partida) / Stage 5 – Estremoz (Start)

Vinte e um anos depois Estremoz, a cidade dos “Dragões de Olivença”, recebe a início da última etapa da prova. As pedaladas finais da Volta ao Alentejo Crédito Agrícola, a caminho de Évora, começam no sempre esplendoroso Rossio Marquês de Pombal.

Estremoz recebeu a partida do mais belo e vertiginoso contrarrelógio individual (CRI) da história da “Alentejana” que finalizou em Redondo e fez a ascensão e descida da Serra D’Ossa, que decorreu sob a liderança de corredores da Sicasal/Acral. Jorge Silva ganhou o CRI e Carlos Carneiro reforçou a liderança e ganhou a Volta ao Alentejo Crédito Agrícola.

A cidade que aquartela o Regimento de Cavalaria 3 (RC3), vulgo “Dragões de Olivença”, fica na história da prova com o triunfo de um alentejano numa etapa que teve final no Rossio Marquês de Pombal. No chuvoso dia 11 de junho de 2010, Bruno Pires carimbou a sua segunda vitória da “Alentejana”.

Twenty-one years later, Estremoz, the city of the "Dragões de Olivença," hosts the start of the final stage of the race. The last pedal strokes of the Volta ao Alentejo Crédito Agrícola, on the way to Évora, begin in the ever-splendid Rossio Marquês de Pombal.

Estremoz was the starting point of the most beautiful and thrilling individual time trial (ITT) in the history of the "Alentejana," which finished in Redondo and featured the ascent and descent of Serra D’Ossa, under the leadership of riders from Sicasal/Acral. Jorge Silva won the ITT, while Carlos Carneiro strengthened his lead and secured victory in the Volta ao Alentejo Crédito Agrícola.

The city, home to the 3rd Cavalry Regiment (RC3), known as the "Dragões de Olivença," is forever linked to the race's history with the triumph of an Alentejan rider in a stage that finished at Rossio Marquês de Pombal. On a rainy June 11, 2010, Bruno Pires sealed his second victory in the "Alentejana."

	5ª Etapa- Évora (chegada) / Stage 5 – Évora (Finish) Évora, cidade Património Imaterial da Humanidade e a não menos imponente Praça do Giraldo, recebem o final de mais uma edição da prova, será a trigésima oitava que vez a Volta ao Alentejo Crédito Agrícola tem um final de etapa na “Cidade Museu”, em 183, 84 e 85, teve duas etapas em cada uma das edições. Ao longo das 41 edições da “Alentejana” até agora disputadas, Évora já recebeu 33 o final da prova e entre outros locais, o cenário final da prova ocorreu no Rossio de São Brás, Templo de Diana e desde 2014, na Praça do Giraldo. Nas 37 chegadas a Évora, 18 corredores portugueses conseguiram o triunfo na tirada, a última o ano passado por Iuri Leitão (Caja Rural/ Seguros RGA), depois surgem os corredores espanhóis com 11 vitórias, 2 de corredores franceses, depois com uma vitória há um corredor venezuelano, britânico, colombiano, germânico, australiano e finalmente um húngaro. (ENG) Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage city, along with the no less imposing Praça do Giraldo, welcomes the conclusion of yet another edition of the race. This marks the 38th time that the Volta ao Alentejo Crédito Agrícola has had a stage finish in the "Museum City." In 1983, 1984, and 1985, there were two stages in each edition. Throughout the 41 editions of the "Alentejana" held so far, Évora has hosted the race finale 33 times. Among other locations, the final stage has taken place at Rossio de São Brás, the Temple of Diana, and, since 2014, at Praça do Giraldo. Of the 37 finishes in Évora, 18 Portuguese riders have claimed stage victories, the most recent being Iuri Leitão (Caja Rural/Seguros RGA) last year. Spanish riders follow with 11 wins, while French cyclists have secured two. Additionally, there has been one stage victory each for a Venezuelan, British, Colombian, German, Australian, and, most recently, a Hungarian rider.
	5ª Etapa- Estremoz (partida) / Stage 5 – Estremoz (Start) Vinte e um anos depois Estremoz, a cidade dos “Dragões de Olivença”, recebe a início da última etapa da prova. As pedaladas finais da Volta ao Alentejo Crédito Agrícola, a caminho de Évora, começam no sempre esplendoroso Rossio Marquês de Pombal. Estremoz recebeu a partida do mais belo e vertiginoso contrarrelógio individual (CRI) da história da “Alentejana” que finalizou em Redondo e fez a ascensão e descida da Serra D’Ossa, que decorreu sob a liderança de corredores da Sicasal/Acral. Jorge Silva ganhou o CRI e Carlos Carneiro reforçou a liderança e ganhou a Volta ao Alentejo Crédito Agrícola. A cidade que aquartela o Regimento de Cavalaria 3 (RC3), vulgo “Dragões de Olivença”, fica na história da prova com o triunfo de um alentejano numa etapa que teve final no Rossio Marquês de Pombal. No chuvoso dia 11 de junho de 2010, Bruno Pires carimbou a sua segunda vitória da “Alentejana”.
